Michael Backstrom

Michael Backstrom is senior vice president of Regulatory Affairs at Southern California Edison, one of the nation’s largest electric utilities. He is responsible at the national and state levels for the company’s regulatory strategy, advocacy and operations. This includes regulatory case management, environmental policy, pricing and rate design, tariffs, and cost recovery, among others.
